Introduced to the general public in China 1992 by Li Hongzhi, Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) is described as a "cultivation practice". Practitioners of Falun Gong "cultivate their hearts in accordance with the principle of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance to become a better person and gain wisdom toward life, the universe and humanity". They also "do five sets of simple and gentle exercises, including a sitting meditation, to balance and improve the well-being of their body and mind". The movements are easy to learn, (Li has given occasional public lectures over the past few years in various countries, including Australia, Switzerland, Canada, and the USA.) and at once both relaxing and energizing. Through practicing Falun Gong, practitioners enjoy a healthy, peaceful and harmonious way of living, until they became interesting for intelligence agencies, both Western and Chinese, of course. So, they go to Tienanmen square to be beaten, arrested, deported to Chinese prison camps or enjoy policital asylum in the U.S.A. according to the principle of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" mentioned. Then they could became even better persons, gaining much more wisdom toward life (comparing their life in the U.S.A. and that one they had in their homeland China), the universe and humanity, to talk about in interviews, at their press conferences and other public appearances widely covered by main stream media. Anyway, it's much better than practicing a lonely sitting meditation in some Chinese prison camp. |

| A case uncovered recently by police has revealed another irrefutable evidence of the notorious Falun Gong cult, headed by Li Hongzhi, for its anti-human nature. The People's Daily will publish a commentary Friday condemning the notorious Falun Gong cult, headed by Li Hongzhi, for its anti-humane nature. Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing attended the exhibition, showing the bloodcurdling incidents caused by the Falun Gong cult, Sunday evening at the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution. Yang Huijun, a member of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, asked his 6- year-old boy, "Baby, do you know what a cult is?" Chinese jurists and scientists have proposed that China should draw up an anti-cult law to fight cults and their illegal activities more effectively. An exhibition, showing the bloodcurdling incidents caused by the Falun Gong cult opened Sunday morning at the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution. Yang Jiechi, Chinese ambassador to the US, pointed out Tuesday that the evil Falun Gong cult has exerted all its efforts to entangle itself in various activities against China and turned out to be a political 'cat's-paw' of international anti-China forces. Wang Dan, a former member of the notorious cult, Falun Gong, in Dalian, in northeast China's Liaoning Province, recently handed in her application for admission into the Communist Party of China (CPC). The Falun Gong is "an evil cult", Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Tung Chee-hwa said Thursday at a Legislative Council question and answer session. Facing more than 20 reporters from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as from China's mainland, 38- year-old Fang Bin seemed eloquent in preaching the doctrines of Falun Gong. "What do you think of Falun Gong?" a journalist with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) asked two rows of "students" at a re-education camp for female Falun Gong practitioners. The life of many former Falun Gong practitioners have improved after their abandoning the Falun Gong cult with the help of the government. Zhang Qian, a second-year student at the Central Conservatory, played the flute in a solo concert Monday. People's Daily will publish a commentary Monday, calling for people to help Falun Gong practitioners to keep away from the cult and return to the embrace of family and society. A man committed suicide by jumping from the 13th floor of a tall building in Foshan City, Guangdong Province and died on the spot May 15. It is told that the poor man was a Falun Gong practitioner obsessed with the cult from Chongqing. Believing in Li Hongzhi's Falun Gong will result in self-extermination and people should keep away from it, said Shao Jun, a former Falun Gong practitioner. A Falun Gong member has been sentenced to life in prison and another one to 13 years behind bars for sabotaging a railway line and other crimes. HK newspapers pointed out that if Falun Gong practitioners insist on continuing with their illegal anti-China activities and undermining Hong Kong's prosperity and stability, they are bound to be discarded by Hong Kong people. Birth, death and disease are natural events in life. However, Falun Gong creator Li Hongzhi fabricated his so-called instructions telling sick people not to see doctors but to practice Falun Gong to recover. People's Daily publishes a commentary, urging Falun Gong followers to stop believing in and practicing the cult and seek medical attention at a hospital or a doctor when falling ill. More News |
