"I have relied on the Croatian American Association for information
about the situation in Croatia and Bosnia-Hercegovina and guidance on
the issues of primary importance to the Croatian American Community."
Hon. Slade Gorton, U.S. Senate

Founded in 1990, the CAA is a non-profit organization
established to provide research and analysis to the
United States Government, media, and public.
The CAA was the first, and is the only, registered
Croatian American lobbying organization in the
United States . As one of this country's most successful
communities, 2.5 million Croatian Americans represent
Croatia's most powerful political and economic resource
outside of Zagreb.

The CAA serves as Croatian voice in the nation's capital, promoting
closer ties between the United States and the Republic of Croatia
and defends Croatia's political and territorial integrity within the context
of US foreign policy.

Over the past four years, the CAA has developed an extensive
of contacts within the United States Congress , the White House,
and the U.S. Department of State

Using community sources, as well as government and "in field" contacts
in Croatia and Bosnia, the CAA provides up-to-date, reliable information
to U.S. policymakers and mobilizes Croatian Americans in response to
legislative initiatives.
